Our clinical outcomes

Barts and The London hospitals produce some of the best clinical outcomes in the UK - evidenced by one of the best survival rate records in the NHS.

Fast access

All urgent two-week wait cancer referrals are seen within two weeks. All skin cancer patients receive treatment within the 62-day target. 80% of routine patients are seen in outpatients within eight weeks. The outpatient waiting time continues to fall with an expected four-week wait to be achieved during 2007-08.

In 2006-07, we had 43 inpatient and more than 20,000 outpatient attendances.
