Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)

The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service provides a comprehensive range of emergency and non-emergency services to the local community. The department is also a referral centre to a wider geographic area for more complex procedures.

Services include

Advanced facilities and expertise are available including:

• laser surgery, both for in and outpatient working
• videostroboscopy
• endoscopic sinus surgery
• voice abnormalities
• surgery for head and neck malignancy
• advanced adult and paediatric otology and neurotology

Specialist clinics include a daily emergency clinic where a nurse practitioner is able to assess and treat many ear conditions and a one-stop clinic for patients with masses in the head and neck.
