Special Purpose Fund Grants

Special Purpose Funds arise when money donated to The Charity is for a specific (restricted) purpose.  Responsibility and accountability for the funds remains with the Trustees of The Charity but for a number of funds they have delegated the day to day management to specific ‘fund-holders’.

To assist fund-holders with the management and utilisation of funds The Charity has developed a set of Guidelines which sets out the range of charitable activities that can be supported, expenditure limits and the authorisation(s) required.  These guidelines have recently been revised and the new version entitled Special Purpose Fund Guidelines is now available.  A Special Purpose Fund Grants Quick Reference Guide is also available.  Please note that this is for reference and full details are in the  Special Purpose Fund Guidelines.

The Charity has recently installed a new Finance Management System and currently it is not possible for fund-holders to view the funds they manage.  Please continue to monitor this page for updates on when this function will be available.

New funds will only be opened at the discretion of The Charity.  To make a request to open a new fund please complete form SPF001 2008.

Donations:

If money for a specific purpose and/or fund is received please complete and return form SPF002 together with the donation and any relevant correspondence.
