Information for patients

We recognise that this is a difficult or unsettling time for women with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of gynaecological cancer.  During your stay or hospital appointment we encourage you to ask questions about your diagnosis, care or treatment options. We appreciate the need for you to be fully informed at all stages and that the amount and timing of information should be consistent with your individual desire for information.

A range of information leaflets were created by the nursing team to complement existing good information available nationally, such as those published by Cancerbackup, Cancer Research UK and Macmillan.
